Advertising & Marketing Design
Crunchy Critters Advertising Campaign
This brief was enabling for me to understand a target audience for a product that would be a difficult sell, where I had to consider my objective, and through this create a proposition and prove it where possible.
Television Advertisements
Creating this television advertisement gave me quite a few options to go with and by the end of the creative process I had three good advertisement options.
I saw it as an opportunity to have three advertisement campaigns running concurrently.
Campaign #1
Campaign #2
The simplest story and design would keep the costs down for the entire production.
This method of advertising would stand out for the simple fact that it was for a product that is not of the norm, and it would be less noisy and complex than others.
Web Banner Advertisements
Through simple but effective banner advertisements the product can find a way into web users consciousnesses.
Social Media Advertisements
& Marketing
Social Media is an extremely powerful tool which can be used to influence a customers mindset and preferences. For this brief Facebook, Instagram and Twitter were used to create mock-ups of what the Crunchy Critter advertisements would look like.
This mock-up is of an interactive application on TikTok that helps the user find a dish that can be made using the product advertised, by scrolling and changing parameters to find the perfect dish that they could make at home.
VR Game - Marketing Tool
Given that the digital era has come along and given us VR I thought it prudent to offer an educational marketing tool as a viable option for this campaign.
The game revolves around our product and how well the user can prepare a meal in the virtual world using our product as well as other ingredients. This game then 'teaches' the user how to cook and depending on how their final dish turns out, moves the user on to prepare more challenging dishes.
The game would require the user to collect all the ingredients necessary to prepare the meal.
This game proves itself to be a valuable marketing tool by teaching the younger generation how to cook a meal as well as making the product more acceptable as a normal food source.
Cooking the meal would require all the elements of the dish to be used and added in the correct order.
Once the meal is complete the users dish would be rated and either be given a thumbs up for using all the steps in the preparation and be able to move forward, or given a thumbs down if they have missed a step or not completed a task.
Recipe Cards
As this product is not in very wide use the audience needs more instruction on how to prepare it.
What better ways are there out there on offer today than Gousto or Hello Fresh! who send out the ingredients as well as recipe cards to help the consumer prepare the meals correctly.
This seems the best way to help the consumer to make the best out of this product.
